Zechariah is a supportive housing environment that combines affordable living with supportive services to help individuals who may face challenges related to substance use, returning citizens, or being a veteran. We are designed to provide a stable and supportive living environment for these vulnerable populations. Our goal is promoting recovery, rehabilitation, and successful community reintegration.
For individuals with substance use disorder, supportive housing can offer a safe and stable environment that promotes recovery by providing access to counseling, therapy, reducing the risk of homelessness, and other supportive services.
The program will help individuals establish connections with peers who are in recovery, fostering a sense of community and social support.
​For returning citizens (ex-offenders), supportive housing can help reduce recidivism rates by providing stable housing upon release of incarceration, reducing the risk of homelessness, and promoting successful community integration. Supportive services such as job training, life skills development, and access to mental health and substance use treatment can also be provided to help rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.
For veterans, supportive housing can address the unique challenges that veterans may face, such as substance use disorder, mental health, reducing the risk of homelessness, and difficulty transitioning to civilian life. The program will provide a supportive environment where veterans can connect with other veterans, access services tailored to their needs, receive support to improve mental health, physical health, and their overall wellbeing.

Zechariah Recovery Homes is a nonprofit 501c3 organization. The funds that we received goes directly toward our purpose of housing individuals into our community.
